Where
the direct stick method of securing the timber is chosen
by the customer, Westech Flooring will conduct a moisture
test on the concrete slab prior to the install.
This is undertaken to comply with the Australian Standards
for timber flooring installations.
Where
the moisture content is found to be above the Australian
standard, a moisture barrier will be applied to the concrete
slab prior to the installation.
Sika®
produces one of the finest timber flooring adhesives available
in today's market and Danny
Davila of WestechFlooring has achieved a certificate of
application from Sika Australia.
In most cases Westech Flooring can
supply its customers with most species of timber including
feature and select grades including the very popular recycled
timbers.
Westech Flooring ensures that all timbers used are of the
highest quality and milled to Australian standards.
The timbers are moisture tested prior to dispatch from the
warehouse.
The timbers are again moisture tested when delivered to
the location of install by a Westech Flooring employee.
